Sorry for the late response :) Well, you can start editing the sidebar by checking the HTML codes that you have pasted on your tumblr.
Find the following code: <!--START EDITING THE SIDEBAR-->
Or look for “Say something yourself” , that’s the part where you can add/edit texts on the sidebar.
